We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Marketing & Customer Experience (CX) Analytics team. You will be responsible for leading key analyses projects, reporting, and processes leading to insights that help drive Marketing & CX decision making. This role is both data-driven and strategic, focused on improving content marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) through insight development and expanding measurement capabilities.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in similar marketing analytics roles with strong technical and analytical abilities.
As a part of the Marketing & CX Analytics team, the work you do will have high visibility across Marketing, CX, Product, and other departments as it is used for data-driven decision making guiding marketing priorities, content strategy, and organic search optimization. The preferred locations for this position are: Atlanta, New York or San Francisco. Other remote locations will be considered.
What you’ll do here:
- You will connect marketing content and business performance in new ways using data and customer journey analysis.
- You will deeply explore our content hubs including Mailchimp Presents, Courier, and our Resources pages that drive our site’s organic search traffic.
- You will review search engine ranking position (SERP) and keyword performance alongside our marketing teams to uncover and monitor trends in organic search.
- You will quantify how our content drives conversion and business growth, by developing a measurement framework.
- You will lead ad hoc analysis and reporting for this area of analysis, and collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop insights.
- You will create new reporting and dashboards, data infrastructure, and queries to track key marketing metrics across multiple data sources leveraging SQL, R/Python and, Looker, Tableau, and other visualization tools; monitor for changes in trends, share insights and make recommendations
- You will operate as a self-directed individual contributor and manage towards project timelines and dependencies.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have experience in web, marketing, SEO, and content analytics
- You have a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree (analytics, computer science, or mathematics a plus)
- You have 3-5 years experience in web, SEO, or content analytics preferred
- You have expert knowledge of Organic Search database systems like Search Console, Brightedge, and Google Analytics
- You have experience with eCommerce and/or software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models
- You have experience working with senior leadership at corporations
- You have expert working knowledge of SQL, R, and/or Python
- You are an expert at wrangling and transforming data
- You have strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- You have extensive experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker
- You have experience working with Google BigQuery a plus
- You have experience with statistical methods such as regression and hypothesis testing
- You have experience analyzing data from a variety of different sources (quantitative and qualitative), and presenting the data in a clear and concise manner
