This marketing leadership role is responsible for leading the creation and management of global marketing campaigns that accelerate Mailchimp’s growth and build our brand. You’ll partner with functions across marketing, including brand, media, and our in-house creative agency to drive breakthrough creative work and optimize that work in market. Because this role sits at the intersection of many different disciplines, it requires a deep understanding of how those disciplines contribute to the successful execution of winning campaigns, and a leadership style that brings the best out of each of them.
What you'll do here:
- Lead the creation and management of global marketing campaigns that accelerate Mailchimp’s customer growth with insight-driven messages and creative
- Structure, author and present marketing briefs that translate strategic discoveries into actionable insight and inspire our creative teams to do their best work
- Develop compelling communications at scale in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Operationalize the campaign management process from briefing through creative development, production, launch and optimization
- Lead the creation of communications strategy deliverables including audience journeys, campaign ecosystems, engagement frameworks, moments strategies and tactical briefs
- Align our media and analytics teams around measurement frameworks and reporting cadences that enable campaign optimizations which produce exceptional outcomes
- Keep the team focused on the customer problem, define success with clear goals and objectives, and galvanize the team around them
- Drive collaboration with external partners including media and production agencies
- Forge productive relationships with senior leadership across disciplines and departments

- You have experience leading collaborative relationships with world-class creative and media agencies
- You have expert experience in project management and campaign development with a clear perspective and a proven approach
- You’re fluent in the languages of design, creativity, and production, and your credibility earns you trust and respect as a collaborator
- You can set a clear vision and help the team achieve it at the highest level of craft
